The credits for a failed generation are returned to your balance automatically, so you only spend credits on results you receive.
No. Credits from one-time packs and from subscription plans stay in your balance until you use them, including after you cancel a plan.
Yes. New accounts get free credits to try a design. Free accounts wait 2 minutes before each generation; any purchase removes the wait.
Packs suit occasional projects: you pay once and keep the credits. Plans suit regular use and cost less per credit, about $0.04 per credit on Lite Monthly against $0.06–$0.17 on packs.
Go to Settings, then Billing, and cancel the plan there. Credits already added to your balance stay available.
